This Privacy Policy describes how Winngs Pvt. Ltd. (“Winngs”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), registered in Surat, Gujarat, India (PIN 395007), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Winngs food delivery app and website (winngs.co). By using Winngs you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the app.

  • Account information: name, mobile number, email address, and delivery addresses you save.
  • Order information: restaurants ordered from, items selected, order value, payment method (we do not store full card numbers — payment processing is handled by our payment provider).
  • Location data: your precise location when you place an order, to calculate delivery distance and show nearby restaurants. We request location permission only while the app is in use.
  • Device information: device type, operating system, app version, and crash reports used to improve app stability.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, searches made, and features used within the app.

2. How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your orders.
  • To calculate delivery eligibility and free-delivery zones (up to 5 km).
  • To send order status notifications via SMS and push notification.
  • To respond to customer support requests.
  • To improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
  • To comply with legal obligations under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We do not use your personal data for advertising on third-party platforms without your explicit consent.

3. Sharing of information

We share your information only as needed to operate the service:

  • Restaurant partners: your name, delivery address, and order details are shared with the restaurant fulfilling your order.
  • Delivery partners: your delivery address and contact number are shared with the delivery person assigned to your order.
  • Payment providers: order amount and transaction reference are shared with our payment gateway for processing.
  • Analytics: aggregated, anonymised usage data may be shared with analytics providers to improve the app.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@winngs.co.

5. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Request erasure of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Payment card data is handled by PCI-DSS-compliant payment providers and is never stored on Winngs servers.

7. Children's privacy

Winngs is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via a notification in the app or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
